Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Cross Roamr LLC ("Cross Roamr", "we", "us") for your use of the Cross Roamr app and website. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Who can use Cross Roamr
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. One account per person.
Meeting people in person
Cross Roamr helps travelers find and organize meetups. We don't run, supervise or check the meetups themselves, and we don't run background checks on users. Please use good judgment: meet in public places, let someone know where you'll be, trust your instincts, and leave if something feels wrong. You're responsible for your own safety and your own interactions with other users, online and in person. If someone makes you feel unsafe, report them in the app, and in an emergency contact local emergency services.
Your content
You own what you post: messages, photos, profile details and meetups. You give Cross Roamr permission to store, display and process it as needed to run the service. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
What's not allowed
- Harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination.
- Nudity or sexual content, or anything sexualizing minors.
- Scams, spam, or asking people for money.
- Pretending to be someone else, or creating fake accounts.
- Using Cross Roamr for commercial promotion without our permission.
- Anything illegal, or trying to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, at our discretion.
Trip plans and AI content
Itineraries are generated automatically and may contain mistakes: places can be closed, prices can change and directions can be out of date. Always check details yourself before you rely on them. Trip plans are suggestions, not professional travel advice.
Premium
Some features may be offered through a paid Premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google, renew automatically until you cancel, and are managed in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Ending your account
You can freeze or delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms or put others at risk.
Disclaimers and limits
Cross Roamr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Cross Roamr LLC isn't liable for the conduct of any user, for anything that happens at meetups, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll try to let you know ahead of time, for example in the app or by email. Continuing to use Cross Roamr after that means you accept the updated terms.
